Mrs. Rebecca Kwiatkoski is currently an elementary school teacher in Long Valley, New Jersey.  Originally from Charlottesville, Virginia, the author has lived in New Jersey for 34 years.

She and her husband share their home with three children, their dog Harley, and Milly their guinea pig.

Harley, a rescued dog, was the inspiration for the author's first book, "Harley & Heloise."

Moose, a loose guinea pig her husband found road-side while jogging one day, was the inspiration for her second book, "Moose is Loose!"

Her third book, "Paisley You're Crazy!," is about her rabbit and is a beginner counting book for young readers.  Children are engaged in finding all of Paisley's pet care items as their eyes and fingers meander through the pages.  "Paisley- you're crazy.  What have you done?  You've hidden your food bowl.  That's number 1!"  This proceeds to ten and back again.  Pictures are hidden within the text, for readers to explore!

Her fourth book, "Bo's Pond," follows the exciting adventures of a northern pond snake as he seeks to find a family to call his own.

Her fifth book, "Bowser's Back!" was co-written with Lauren Spiotta-DiMare, an animal lover and author.  It is a heartwarming true-to-life story about a Bassett Hound that visited the staff and students at a local elementary school in New Jersey.  He attended school functions and was eventually named as the school mascot!

The author graduated from James Madison University, and has recently obtained her Master's Degree in education from the College of New Jersey.

Mrs. Kwiatkoski's love of writing has always been a central part of her life.  She is pleased to share that passion with you!
